Membership

What do I get with my membership?

While, we do offer a variety of services for free, only members can borrow carriers and take them home to use. When you become a member of Mile High Babywearing you gain access our vast library of baby carriers, slings, and wraps AND personalized help with babywearing whenever you need it! If you are unable to pay for a membership, ask us about our Scholarship Membership Program.

Can I upgrade my membership after I sign up?

Yes! At any point you can upgrade your membership from a single to a dual by sending us the difference in amount ($15) to our PayPal. Be sure to include a note in your transaction.

What do I do when my membership expires? How do I renew?

To renew your membership, simply send your donation to us via PayPal, with a note letting us know you are renewing an existing membership. You can renew anytime after your membership has expired.

Carrier Lending Library

How many carriers can I check out at a time?

If you have a single membership, you can check out ONE carrier at a time. Dual membership holders are allowed TWO carriers at a time. All carriers are due back within 30 days from check out (or at the next monthly meetup).

What if I can’t return my carrier on time? Do you charge a late fee?

We understand life happens! If you are unable to return your carrier by the due date, please contact us! We do charge a $1/day late fee, but do our best to make accommodations. Typically we will have you drop off the carrier with a volunteer, or someone will meet up with you to retrieve the carrier.

How will I know when my carrier is due back?

Typically carriers are due back at the next local meetup. You will receive an email confirming your loan check out, with the due date. You will also receive two email reminders from us before the due date: one a week out, and one the day before.

For out-of-meeting check-outs, carriers are due back 30 days from the date they are checked out. For example, the Boulder group meets on the First Saturday of each month, So if you check out your carrier on the first Saturday in January, your carrier(s) will be due back on the first Saturday in February.
